My Darling Jaekan
Times flies! Jaekan is already 9months old! And in 3months time, he will no longer be a baby but toddler! became really smiley at five months, smiling at Jon and myself everytime. Giggled at grandmas and grandpas' attempts to play with him. It was a delight to hear his giggles. Though motherhood wasn't smooth sailing esp when 'unpredictable wee' chooses not to nap beyond 30 mins and still struggled to sleep through the night. I. think he just isn't a sleeping baby. Haha. I struggled big time when i placed him at infantcare at 4months old and he didn't nap well too! I was missing him everyday and even now-at 9months old, i still rushed back, take leave often and thought about removing him from infant care constantly!

Jaekan was sleeping ok and almost through the night till he reached 7 months old! He pulled himself up and learnt how to stand! With that, he became to sleep horribly. He was waking up every 2 hours! GOSH.I was like a dead zombie.....

Throughout, Jaekan became close to me. He preferred me to put him to sleep, loved my kisses, hugs and also playing with him. I always play "where is mammy game by hiding and he finding me!" He crawled at 6 months, stood up at 7 months and was really a steady and strong baby by 9 months. We are very proud of him! He is alittle fussy over food and seems to me knew how to enjoy his food. He loved creamy tofu, porridge simmered with veg stock or pork bone stock, pumpkin, fruits except for sour ones, egg yolk and avocado. I enjoyed whipping good food for him and always try different varieties to understand him better

I love you Jaekan! You are really mummy's precious and lovely darling. I am so glad that i took the option to work part time...gave up/let go my personal time or vanity purchases just to be with you during your growing up years. I was able to capture every milestone you went through and its all worth it. Though i hope to give up my job to care for you......but i can't! (i will work out something ok?) You are worth all that i have!
