HK Trip: Jon's graduation trip + Year end-Holiday

Jon finally graduated! :) Yay! no more writing notes for exams, studying and also all sort of stress and sian-ness. I am glad he finished his studies. Also, to make things more exciting, i changed a new, short hairstyle. I like it! Dyed with red and brown..and i looked really nice and trendy. But, somehow the pictures don't make me look so nice on pics. Ok, that's not the point.

HK was a more affordable place for us then and Jon really wanted to go to Ocean park so we decided to make HK our holiday destination. When we alighted from the plane, we were very comfortable and happy with the weather. Jon loves the weather and he wants to migrate there! Oh man!

1st day: Shopping + relaxing day.

We checked into our hotel "Panda Hotel". From the exterior of the hotel, it looked old and really
-_-" (dont know what to say..) maybe green? hahaa..but to our pleasant surprise, hotel is actually quite nice. The panda hotel is also cutely decorated with so many pandas. See photo below. We are very glad to see that. We also had a much desired Dim sim and some shopping.

Day 2: Ocean Park + Jumbo Seafood restaurant

I like a Korean show "Eden" something and would like to go Jumbo Seafood restaurant since they filmed a scene there. Ocean park was nice. But, i was feeling abit sickly that day so i didn't dared to do too much at Ocean park. Jon wanted to go for some of the rides...but i really can;t. He is patient and gracious. Thank God. Told him that he can come with his friends again for these rides. I will freak out if I go for those rides. Jumbo Seafood was ok, nice food but very expensive. We spent like $100 plus bucks on just three dishes. Also, its abit far from town.

Day 3: Disney Land + Noak's Ark

Our journey to Noah's Ark was very nice. Its also near to our hotel. The whole place was clean and also there is alot of space. However, when we reached Noah's Ark, i felt disappointed. Only the movie presentation was more interesting. Other than that, nothing really interesting. We enjoyed the weather and also the leisure walk though. :) Weather was very nice. We also appreciated the emphasis on the Bible. Disney land was surprising pleasant. There were not many people that day we went. Also, no long queue for rides too. We also enjoyed the fireworks! :) The first time we went was very hot and also there were many people. This time, weather was so nice and there were afew people. :)

Day 4: Leisure shopping, Aberdeen shopping

Last day, we did our shopping and eating at burstling shopping streets of HK. We also went to HK very own computer fair! Very very long queue. The moment we came out from MTR and crossed the road, we noticed the queue. And when we asked the locals, they said this is the queue for the computer fair. We couldnt even see the entrance. We just took the risk and queue. I am super whinely cause I don't find it a worthy cause to queue up for a fair and you are not certain that you will get anything anyway. But my man loves wires, electronics and technology. So, I must accompany him lorh. We waited for around 20 to 30 mins before the fair opened. Bought a ticket and realised that the fair is only around two basket ball size. Imagine the shock. We asked the locals if usual fairs are like that. They said "yes". -_-" Ok, at least we get a taste of local HK lifestyle.

Below are some pics :

Me almost sian to the MAX. while Jon sian that I am so whiney over my sianess. You understand? haha.

Disney round 2. Lovely weather to pose a pic. We took this like 10 over times! This one, we find it nice we are not looking at camera.

Noah's ark. Behind us: the artificial ark.

Food for day 1. Great affordable jap food

Panda Hotel. Look at all the granduer of the Panda decorations.
