Rojak Post: All in Thanksgiving to God
This is one of those Rojak posts when you had not post for some time..and you try to summarise what's going on...in summary, so many things happened and we thank God for His goodness and provision!
Jon and myself took 2 weeks off from work (end dec to 1st week Jan) just to spend time..relax..slack heheee..and prepare for some wedding stuff..We had so much so much fun!
We didn't really plan anything at all. Yup, very untypical for a planner like me..but we had so much to do. We went over the causeway twice to shop. Once with Pastor Klein & Margaret..and they blessed us so much! Once with Jon only. It was a day trip and we simply spend time shopping, eating and watching movie.
Spot the difference! Yup, Jon's slippers. We were shopping for his shoes and here is kind of like a joke :)
During our two weeks, we took our wedding shots. The wedding photographer was very professional. We are very happy with the shots! I have not uploaded anything..will not too. Will only show during our wedding. Overall, it was a fun and one of the life time experience wearing heavy makeup + fake eyelashes (my first time!) and heavy gown romancing Jon. Hahaa.. :D Fun larh.
Okie, thats all for our 2 weeks holiday. :D

Overall, we are so happy and excited about spending our life together. I mean..alot of people will have pre marital blues...fears and also committment phobias. Not that we had not had our share..we do before that..more of myself(Dawn). Jon was all very steady lar. I also heard that couples will quarrel over details of the wedding, the house..and parents/inlaws! Not that we don't have it too....but, i think alot of it is really minimise because we concluded that we just want to be with each other..loving & caring for each other. Some things just doesn't matter that much. Also, God has given us alot of perspective, grace and wisdom in all...and provided for us etc. Well, what can i say?

Okie, thats all for our 2 weeks holiday. :D Jon & CNY has been great too! We have been praying for a place to stay after marriage...hahaha..exploring to rent or to stay with Jon's parents. During all these while, we are quite settled to stay together with Jon's parents. We spoke to his parents and Jon has been preparing the house, cleaning up and planning...we are so happy and excited..and just then, God bless us with a place to stay! And, God has taken care of everything including financially! ~
It came to us as both a surprise from God and also a huge blessing! With God, everything is possible. So...this CNY, I have started to follow Jon on the 1st CNY day, visiting both his grandmothers and relatives. He also came over during 1st CNY day to visit my parents/relatives. We had such a busy long but good day together..Just one day visiting so many people! But, its our last year collecting hong baos! :D Its a good last year.

We also manage to paint our new place! Wow. its was so tiring but we were so blessed and so happy doing things together! Below are some peeks at our new place! Nice?
