Its Uncle Wee's bday! Last week was a busy week for me because its Uncle Jon's bday! Uncle Wee just started his work in YGOS and was in camp from 04th Jan to 06th Jan. 07th Jan was his bday! So, we went out to celebrate! We went to Sentosa :) and then to Jewel Box at Mt Faber

Here we are waiting for the train :) Haha. Always on phone or SMS recently. POKE him!

Our first stop at Sentosa was the 4D cinemax show. Its our first time watching something like that. Its only 15 minutes on a pirate finding treasure. It was alright. The whole 15 minutes was a 3D experience with some parts where the " images" came out of the screen. Jon and I felt that it can be much better especially with the price we paid. Well, Sentosa is really for tourists i guess. For SIngaporeans, its TOO expensive! If you would like to go for some kind of 3D experience, try Science Centre Onmi theatre. (fantastic for those who loves documentary)

Next up, we tried "Desperados." Its a cowboy shooting kind of game with a cinema screen. Its fun but way too short! Once again, I felt the price is not worth it. :( Haha..but in the first round, I was the top shooter. (that made history for me! I am so poor at shooting!

Next up, we tried this ride called the LUGE. Its a 4wheel ride down the slope. Alas! This is something worth and fun! :) The package includes also a sky ride which i find it quite refreshing and scary! (because I am afraid of heights!)
See how high we were. But the view is great :) We could see the beaches of Sentosa and enjoy the breeze. Its around 5 to 10 minutes ride.

After that, we went down to Habor Front to take a bus to Jewel Box. Its a really great and fantastic place!! We went to "Black Opal" for a meal. The prices ranges between 20 plus to 40plus. But's its all worth it. We love the place!

Jon looks really tired and blur that whole day. He was aching and exhausted from his camp. I wish I could have been more understanding..haha because I was complaining that he is not responding to the nice romantic place, the fun at sentosa etc. But, he was! :)

The food is really good. As I am typing this, I really feel so hungry thinking about the good food. That kind of place is once-in- a- very- long- while kind of place.

Nice starry chairs! I took this and edited in photoshop but did a bad job! Anyway, Jon still looks very good with his pose..haha. :)
Jon, really hope the day spent was great for you! It was for me! You know what? The most important thing is the companionship :) doing things and being together with you is just so great! :) Its really not the level of romance, nor sweet-nothings nor excitment of the programme though all the above is like bonuses. But, its YOU, Jon.
On 10th January, I organised birthday celebration for Jon at Eighteen Chefs, Yishun. Its a great and meaningful place to be in. Mr Benny Seto, a ex-convict opened this place and he actually hired some youth-at-risks, trained them in his restaurants. The place is perfect for Jon who is going into YGOS to work with youth at risk.
Below: Jon and His family. Look! I painted a picture for him..can you spot it?

Jon and his YGOS colleagues. (James, Jonathan (also), Boon Siong and Royston) Thanks for coming guys! You guys are so supportive! Your presence meant alot to Jon :)

You guys made Jon's birthday celebration sooo special and appreciated! I heard its his very first party with his friends, colleagues and all!!
Dear God, in the beginning of the year, we celebrate Your faithfulness in Jon's life. Indeed, You are a God who will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray that as Jon embarks into his faith adventure in YGOS and also studies, we pray that you will strengthen him in all aspects, give him wisdom and favor, help him to persevere throughout though it might be tough. I pray that he will use the above guitar to touch life, and remember that all of us are behind him :) (We love you, Jon!!!! ) Thank You Lord for everything. In the Name of Jesus I pray, amen!
