Jon in thoughts as he travels in the train.
Anyway, we watched movie and listened to music throughout the journey. :) Of course rested alittle while. I have sat trains a couple of times but nothing like this time as the whole journey is so bumpy. We we are sleeping by the door and toilet..imagine the whatever it is! (noise, smell etc) But, overall its still good. At twelve midnight, (25th dec) Jon surprised me with a Christmas gift. (its a nice necklace) and we celebrated our Christmas on the train. :)
Day 02: 25th Dec 2009 at 3.30am ~Centerpoint Hotel @ Kuala Lipis. Nice and comfortable rooms. Time to sleep!! Due to wake up for breakfast and touring the next few hours ;)

Day 02: We went for breakfast and to check with receptionist on the tour packages they offered to the nearby Nature Reserve Park. She didn't know anything! The hotel website says that they offered some packages but she is sooo blur. So, we went to train station to check out info and asked around. After much asking, its seems so difficult to get to the reserve ourselves. (with all the bus & train etc) Jon and I were very unhappy :( We went to the train station and tickets back to Singapore were sold out!! We have to find out how to go back to Singapore. Ok, our first quarrel came on Christmas day! But, as what Jon says " We are the fastest resolving couple." Yes, we kinda resolved it in awhile and said sorries, love you quite quickly.
But the Lord is very good. He caused us to meet the Owner of the Centerpoint hotel, Mr Bob Leong. He is very helpful. He arranged a trip for us the following day, helped us get tickets to KL (to return to Singapore) and gave us directions/suggestions on that day's plans. :) He is a fellow Christian too! Thank God and His favor upon us!
On that very same day, we met another man, Mr Jrii. A local and He is very friendly. Just that brief encounter, he offered to give us a lift to tour around the town!! What a nice man. He took us to Clifford house (Pic below)

Me @ Clifford garden. He also took us to his guest house (he owns a plantation, a guest house and lands! WOW) Then, he sent us to the bus station for us to take to another state of Malaysia. (for visit)

Whats for lunch on 25th? Love-nuggets? Yummy :)

26th Dec 10am: We went to the Elephant santuary at Pahang. We ride on elephants..

Jon's parents! They are very nice to be with. Jon's mum is very pretty, caring and nice. Jon has her eyes. :) Jon's dad is exactly like Jon in speech and mannerism. :) Enjoyed my time with them very much :)

After the elephant santuary, we went on this ride called 4 By 4. What exactly is that? We ride on this big wheel Jeep. It will lead us to a waterfall where we will dip into the water to play! The journey up the hills is very steep and bumpy. Most of the time we are bumping around. Its very funny, whenever there is a bump and mud (there are many many) different people will say different things!
Jon: Shiok ah!! giggle(he loves all the bumps!)
Aunt Lily: Ouch! giggle..Ouch!(with the bumps, our bodies will hit on one another and on the vehicle)
Dawn: Giggle..Whoa!
Uncle Willie: Relax, just hold on to the railings. (to aunt lily)
Yes, we giggle and ouches and shioks throughout the journey!
Pic below: Before going on the Jeep bumpy ride..

A candid shot of me and jon. Thank God the camera didn't fall!!

Here! We were nearing the water falls. Its cold!!

@ the water fall!! Nice!!! Jon super love it that he would very much want to swim! Well, unfortunately the currents were too huge so we are advised against swimming.

I had a souvenir from the Nature reserve. Leech bite! Yes, a leech bit on me and sucked my blood. I didn't realise until I came back to bathe and saw blood oozing out from the wound. I didn't manage to see the leech at all! Must be too full after my delicious blood and fell off! Ok, my thighs are pretty fleshy and juicy. ;p
When we were heading for dinner, we met Mr Jrii again! WOW! He was very kind and bought us a good dinner :) brought us to his place after that too. He has a monkey at his place who knows Kung-fu! haha..I demonstrated it to us. ;P esp love the back-kick..heeez.

27th Dec: Last day. We went from KL (Kuala Lipis) to KL (Kuala Lumpur) and shopped awhile before boarding to JB. As there were no tickets back to Singapore, we have to stop by JB before taking 170 back to Singapore. What a long and tiring journey! I find it so interesting how Jon and family were always discussing about their next step! :) Me relaxing and let them make e decisions. ;P

Okie. See how relaxed I am :) I know Jon will think for me and everyone. :) So I can trust in his decisions.

Overall, It was really a very good trip esp with Jon's parents :) Really enjoyed the fellowship and time together. I hope they think the same. :) It is a special trip because the Lord's favor and presence is especially evident with us! (with all the protection, Mr Bob and Mr Jrii etc) Thank God! He is forever good. :)
